one little word...

After reading Ruth's post about a challenge put forth by Ali Edwards back in January, I felt the need to find a word to focus on for the remainder of the year. After giving this some thought, and thinking about my up and coming surgery, the word that I came up with is FREEDOM.

I had trouble with it too. I could only get it to work on Jen's blog. I wanted a cool beach thing, no luck. We should all get together and do a blog hacking thing.

Go to my sight and under the poetry on friday button it says:"poetry friday sponsored by:" and then a link, you can link up there. It is so easy. You just put in your kirstenskorner-kirsten.blogspot.com and your name. You will see it when you get there. It's pretty cool.

So, Kirsten, how you liking Mosaic of Thought? It's life changing isn't it? You should also try Reading for Meaning by Debbie Miller. It's a pretty easy read and it has a wealth of information. Isn't it obsessive in the way that it is the way you think teaching for you should happen? I think it is so exciting! I am going to be posting some reading challenges that I am taking myself. They have helped me come to a realization as a teacher. Look forward to hearing from you.

Kirsten, I left a question in the comment section of my blog, for June 17. It is a reflective question. What do you think?

A good one for our upper grades that I am reading as well is... Strategies That Work by Stephanie Harvey and Anne Goudvis. Forward is by Donald Graves. VERY GOOD.

Thursday looks good for me.... I can do it sooner too. It makes no difference to me... We can do an evening if that works out for everyone as well. Let me know-

Evening work better for me as I have no childcare. I mentioned Tuesday. I am so excited that you are excited. How could you not be? Mosaic really gets your brain going.

OK woman- Get your mind thinking.... In your one word, "freedom" think about what new freedoms you will have in your life in your new journey. What are you most excited about? What do you think this freedom will bring? What are the challenges of this new freedom?
